My aim as your MP is to make a difference to the lives of people in the community I am proud to call home and the country I love – to help make the place where I was born and have lived all my life an even better place for us all to live. My background in education, health and well-being, community and charity has always focused on people and my work in Batley and Spen and at Westminster will always reflect this. I will work as hard as I can, alongside the many other fantastic people and organisations who share my vision for a strong community and a fair society, so I do hope you will join me if you can.
